Numeric[All] at the ALM29 Conference

From 10th to 13th of July, experts from around the world met at the University of Barcelona’s campus to discuss the topic of Numeracy and Social Impact on adult education.

A small delegation of our partners joined the ALM29 Conference (https://alm-online.net/alm29_conference/) to describe the Erasmus+ Numeric[All] project in a 45-minute presentation and a 90-minute hands-on workshop where we discussed some exhibit prototypes with the attendants.

On the last day of the conference, our team also invited all the participants to visit MMACA’s permanent exhibition at Cornellà, so we can provide further examples of their dissemination philosophy.

The feedback provided by the experts was encouraging and validated the starting assumptions of the Numeric[All] project regarding adult learning. There was a general agreement on the necessity of developing pedagogical materials like the ones we are creating in the scope of the project.

Despite the fact that the participation was lower than expected due to the pandemic repercussions, the enthusiasm of the participants about the project was capable of coming up with new ideas, and we are sure that the contacts that we made these days will prove fruitful for the sustainable development of the Numeric[All] project.
